Mediaholic is dedicated to communicating well via new media sources. We love any sort of media, print, video, music, live performances. We enjoy it all. We specialise in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Targeted online media placement and Online Reputation management.
Mediaholic is run by Donovan Banks, a musician and media addict who is enthused by new technology and the way it connects people. He says, "The Internet has it's own way of reaching out to you. There are no restrictions and anyone can make contact with anyone else to the benefit of each other."
Our mission is To connect people to what they want, need and desire where they are, when they want it. It may sound like a bold ambition, but what empire was started with a dream to sleep in on a Saturday? (although we all love that too...)
To break that down further it means we honour the flexibility Digital media provides us. When in school, we remember coming home and having to do homework instead of watching TV. Of course all the cool stuff was straight after school, and it annoyed us that we had to stick to someone else's schedule. Now we find ways around that problem and do our best to create flexibility and availability in media.
Yet, instead of acting like a true Mediaholic and overdosing on creating and managing all types of media (we tried that and failed*) we are now focusing on digital brand management and advertising.
Advertising is communication in every form. It is what we love because it consists of all forms of media. We further chose to specialise in online advertising because of the flexibility it offers. Also because we don't believe anyone out there is as passionate or involved as we are. Our clients campaigns are our campaign. Your success is our success. (High Five! No? ok then...)
Our next passion is education. "I wasn't the smartest kid in school, but everyone came to me for help. I understood the work and the more I helped others understand, the better my own results and the better I felt when they did well," Donovan says. That carries through to our current series of courses. "I'd like to teach others to make use of Social Media as a communication tool. To not only send a message out to customers but to hear what they say back." Your customers are stakeholders in what you do. They know what they want, now you just need the tools to be able to listen to them, and organise what they are saying into something useful.
